International Export Sales

We are the global fish farm riot from Finland, behind some of the worlds most sustainable ways of consuming rainbow trout. We grow pure, healthy, and ecological fish in our Recirculating Aquaculture System. This technology allows us to monitor the entire production chain with full traceability. We are growing rapidly and are now looking for our next Export Sales expert to take us to new heights and making the fish consumption of the world more sustainable.

About us
At Finnforel we dream big, and our dream is to make the world a more sustainable place. Our contribution is our business model. We grow rainbow trout in our RAS farms. The benefits of RAS technology are plenty and the product is a low emission, low waste, low in co2, high tasting and fresh fish. We call this brand LOHI and with it we want to change the way fish gets to your plate. By managing the whole process from growing the fish to rinsing it and shipping it directly to the retailer we cut unnecessary co2 waste and keeping the fish as fresh as possible.

About the Role
As an Export Sales professional you will drive the sales of our brand LOHI on an international level. You will be working with the entire sales process from contacting potential customers to contracting long and prosperous relationships. You will be negotiating with the whole chain at retailers from C-level to purchasing. When a deal is signed, you will arrange the logistics and manage the admin for the shipments. Since the customers exist all over the world there will be a lot of traveling. In this role you will report to and work close with our Head of Sales in Finland.

Your qualifications and abilities
We are looking for an entrepreneurial person who loves building relationships and who wants to make an impact on the world. You are a self-starter who takes action to reach your KPIs and budget. You have good understanding of arranging logistics and projects. You are structured in your work and never leaves anything halfway done.

To be successful in this role we see that you have:

  •         Minimum 5 years of experience from export sales.
  •         Experience from international sales, preferable from the food industry
  •         Fluent English both written and verbal.

Further we see it as a bonus if you have:

  •         Fluent in another language like French, German, Spanish or Japanese.
  •         Experience from working with Fish.
  •         Connections with retailers on an international level.
